Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers a mixed experience with well-appointed rooms but in need of refurbishment and a great location with stunning views. The friendly staff and good dining choices balance with some areas needing attention.
The hotel is nestled in an ideal location for exploring Lynton and Lynmouth with stunning scenery. The rooms are of a very good and comfortable standard, though some noise from the kitchen extractor could be bothersome. The dining experience is satisfactory, but breakfast finishes early. The hotel's proximity to the Valley of Rocks and the sea makes it perfect for scenic walks.
The hotel's location is wonderful, right in the middle of Lynton, making it easy to walk to shops and restaurants. The rooms, although spacious and clean, had some issues like narrow beds and unhoovered carpets, but the generous size and tidiness compensated for it. Service was good, especially housekeeping. The dining experience was decent, offering a variety of breakfast options. Overall, a very central and convenient stay with good value for the price.
